VISION: To design office expressing the international corporate brand while creating workspace where teams can easily collaborate and have the heads-down space.
CHALLENGE: To fit employees on one floor and create collaboration spaces, this location required a large number of offices and workstations. Ceilings had to be raised to create a more open and airy space.
SOLUTION: Visnik & Caufiled architects and Gilbane GC’s helped create a blend of cutting-edge workplace with an open collaborative and creative work environment. Glass office fronts with sliding doors, innovative furniture systems allowed smaller private offices, and smaller workstations created plenty of open collaborative space. The corporate name was incorporated into the wall and floor tile design, creating an illusion of reflection in the elevator lobby to introduce and emphasize the corporate brand. The stunning elevator lobby opens into a large reception & café area for employees to intermingle, and where large, all-hands meetings, or client events can take place. Brilliantly designed and sprinkled throughout the office, open collaboration spaces create “collision points” which allow employees to stop for the quick impromptu meetings where collaboration happens.
