VISION: To establish the international Newmark Knight Frank brand while creating a warm and welcoming, authentic style of the Minneapolis team.
CHALLENGE: To create a “sophisticated industrial” workspace while expressing corporate vision and standards. And to take advantage of the patio space which needed an ADA compliant access, and creative finishes.
SOLUTION: Studio BV architects combined the logo, brand color, and world map depicting company office locations, with locally sourced wood and metal. Ramp was built along the window line, neatly tucked in behind the café banquet sitting, to create ADA compliant access to the patio. Furthermore, a weather resistant, light weight patio pavers were installed on the balcony, and furniture was bolted for security. The heart and soul of the office where people gather, combined the metal and wood in a creation of the dark metal box, that houses reception and collaboration space on one side, café, bar, pool table and sitting area on the other. Each space is highlighted by unique light fixtures. Private offices and workstations include modular furniture and sit stand desks. Carefully designed meeting spaces, offer variety from traditional conference room to media room, to open collaboration with AV technology to accommodate virtual and in person meetings.
